Seventh is the dedication conforming to all sentient beings with an impartial mind. Increasing the three grades, up to roots of goodness that universally cover the realm of all sentient beings, one practices these roots of goodness, cultivating them to the ultimate; one is able to abide in endurance, close the gates of evil realms, skillfully tame the sense faculties, and fully possess dignified deportment, up to being mindful of all roots of goodness. If there is karmic retribution, I will practice the bodhisattva path throughout the future, not abandoning sentient beings, cultivating great giving, dedicating toward all sentient beings without remainder. Furthermore, this bodhisattva attains the unarisen path, reaches the non-dual place, attains mastery over all bodies, attains mastery over all practices and vows; wisdom can universally reach all buddha-lands, attaining the unobstructed ear to hear the sounds of all lands, attaining the pure eye of wisdom to see all buddhas, conforming to all sentient beings with an impartial mind, and dedicating all roots of goodness; this is named the dedication conforming to all sentient beings with an impartial mind. Therefore, the sixth is abandoning the obstacle of lacking skillful means within the mastery over imaged signs, and conforming to the practice corresponding to observing and destroying [attachment] in the grasping of forms and bodies of sentient beings; these are the two dedication stages, the sixth and seventh. For the sake of giving others skillful means, it mostly belongs to the sixth stage; for the sake of obtaining skillful means oneself to attain supernatural powers and the like, it mostly belongs to the seventh dedication stage.
