Eighth is the dedication conforming to the characteristic of suchness. Accomplishing mindfulness and wisdom, abiding unmoved, one attains non-retrogression in the domain of omniscient knowledge. Up to cultivating various roots of goodness, in a single thought contemplating the non-dual domain of omniscient knowledge, within a single thought one can adorn and purify all buddha-lands, attain mastery in all superknowledges and insights, enter the true mark of dharmas, and even not cling to the realm of worlds, not cling to the realm of sentient beings; the mind has nothing upon which to depend, being serene and undistracted. Properly mindful of all dharmas, one is fully endowed with the buddhas' wisdom free of selection, not contradicting all equal, correct Dharmas. Not destroying the marks of the Buddha, equally contemplating the three periods of time, understanding that sentient beings are empty and without anything on which to depend or abide, conforming to real superknowledge, understanding the true meaning, and aiming to reach the buddha stage. All cultivated roots of goodness are dedicated in conformity with the characteristic of suchness; this is named the dedication conforming to the characteristic of suchness. The seventh is abandoning the obstacle of lacking the provisions of merit, cultivating the practice of making offerings and attending upon the Tathāgata; this is the eighth dedication. Although contemplating the dharmakāya and entering the true mark of dharmas, one does not destroy the Buddha's thirty-two marks, yet does not consider them to be the Buddha's true body.
