俱舍師破云：雖用各別，終是同於一所相法，如何住令安住令取勝果，異即衰損令取劣果，滅即滅壞令入過去？還理相違。

The Kośa master refutes this, saying: Although the operations are distinct, they ultimately belong to one and the same characterized phenomenon. How could stationariness make it abide stably to grasp an excellent fruit, alteration decay it to grasp an inferior fruit, and cessation destroy it to make it enter the past? This still contradicts reason.
