6.91

「生得善法至染污亦爾」者，此下便明生得等。生得善與加行善為同類因，非加行善與生得善為因，以彼劣故。就生得善，九品相望展轉為因。故《正理》解云：容一一後皆現前故，有餘師說定一心中得一切故。染污九品展轉為因，准生得說。

"Regarding 'Innate wholesome dharmas... the defiled are also like this':" what follows directly explains the innate and so on. Innate wholesome [dharmas] serve as a sabhāga-hetu for wholesome [dharmas arisen from] effort, but wholesome [dharmas arisen from] effort do not serve as a cause for innate wholesome [dharmas], because the latter are inferior. With respect to innate wholesome [dharmas], the nine grades mutually serve as causes for one another. Therefore the Nyāyānusāra explains: because any one is admitted to be able to become manifest after any other; other masters say it is because all are definitively obtained in a single moment of mind. The defiled nine grades mutually serve as cause, which should be understood in accord with the innate [wholesome].
