論「法智品既能至各三所緣」，外難也。法智品道既能治色、無色，應為彼八地各三所緣。

The Śāstra states: "Since the category of dharma-knowledge is able to... [each is the object of three]." This is an external objection. Since the path belonging to the category of dharma-knowledge is capable of remedying [defilements of] the form and formless realms, it ought to be the object of the respective three [defilements] of those eight grounds.
