基言：說法威儀名於說善巧，稱機宜說名於說所作，又所詮合理名於說善巧，稱機益物名於說所作。

Ji says: The deportment of expounding the Dharma is called skill in expounding; expounding in accordance with the capacities of beings is called what is to be done in expounding. Furthermore, the meaning explained being in accord with principle is called skill in expounding; matching the capacities to benefit beings is called what is to be done in expounding.
