測云：曉他者，即地論說十相智中前之九智是作小乘智，對大名他，依自內智者是後之一智，對小名自，此二句智即十相智，依俱處所者四諦智通攝自他名俱，為此三句說兩門智，依於契經等者，此三句智由三藏教故說。

Che says: 'Awakening others' means that among the ten aspectual gnoses explained in the Dilun, the first nine gnoses constitute Lesser Vehicle gnosis; in contrast to the Great, they are called 'others'. 'Based on internal personal gnosis' is the latter one gnosis; in contrast to the Lesser, it is called 'personal'. These two clauses of gnosis are the ten aspectual gnoses. 'Based on both loci' means that the gnosis of the four truths comprehensively subsumes both self and other, so it is called 'both'. For the sake of these three clauses, two gates of gnosis are spoken of. Regarding 'based on the sūtras, etc.', these three clauses of gnosis are spoken of by virtue of the teachings of the three baskets.
