基云：此中說心生時自性清淨者，此據非自性染名清淨，非無漏故清淨，如勝鬘經中同。
Ji says: "What is said here about the mind being pure in its intrinsic nature when it arises refers to being called pure because it is not intrinsically defiled, not that it is pure because it is taintless, just as in the Śrīmālādevī-sūtra."
