Regarding the undifferentiated fetters among the five higher realms: Jing says: 'Because greed is divided into two, they are called undifferentiated.' Ji says: 'Because the fetters are distinguished based on the realm and not based on persons, they are called undifferentiated; the remaining three distinguish the fetters based on persons and are called differentiated. Due to the undifferentiated fetters, one takes rebirth in the higher realms; due to the differentiated fetters, one does not relinquish rebirth in the higher realms.'
