五種教授者：一、教教授授與教法；二、證教授授與理法；三、次第教授授觀行法門；四、無倒教授授前三種應機無亂；五、神變教授授與神通，令化眾生。

The five kinds of instruction: 1. Instruction in doctrine, imparting doctrinal teachings; 2. Instruction in realization, imparting theoretical principles; 3. Sequential instruction, imparting methods of contemplation; 4. Infallible instruction, imparting the previous three in accordance with capacities without confusion; 5. Instruction in supernormal transformations, imparting supernormal powers so as to transform sentient beings.
