10.81

論云「亦非眾多詮表決定可得乃至非餘假說此義」等，以此理故，雖所目法有眾多名，或具，名眼等，照、了、導等；或不具，唯說一眼。若等目所目法，望所目法皆非實有故。

The treatise states: "Nor can numerous expressions and designations definitively be found [...] up to [...] not other nominal designations [for] this meaning," and so forth. By this reasoning, although the denoted dharma has numerous names—either complete, named "eye" and so forth, along with illuminating, discerning, guiding, etc.; or incomplete, only stating "an eye"—if they equally denote the denoted dharma, in comparison to the denoted dharma, none of them are truly existent.
