論云「當知此中說法所化，謂於一切近稠林行，如此雜染，如此清淨，由此雜染，由此清淨，若所雜染，若所清淨，若非一向，若是一向，若通二種，如是一切皆如實知」者，且如《顯揚》第八心、心法等配之，以有經文，須勘。

Regarding the treatise's statement, "One should know that those who are transformed by the preaching of the Dharma here refers to all those who practice near the thickets: such defilement, such purification, by means of such defilement, by means of such purification, whether that which is defiled, whether that which is purified, whether not exclusively, whether exclusively, whether extending to both kinds—all such things are known as they truly are": for now, match them with the minds and mental factors in fascicle eight of the Prakaraṇāryavācā; since there is sūtra text, it must be verified.
