Regarding the treatise's statement: 'Next, aggregate forms arise, like diverse things, or a stone ground into powder, and so forth, down to arising in this manner by the dominant force of their productive causes, in order to have utility': they arise in this way through the dominant force of the productive causes in their seeds, so that there may be the functioning and grasping of the sense faculties; that is why it is so. Moreover, through the dominant force of the four great elements as productive causes, derived forms have mingled functions, arising in this manner to be available for the sense faculties. When the eye faculty and so forth grasp [them], all dust-objects are present, having these utilities within this aggregate; therefore, one knows that the diverse forms arise with mingled functions. This clarifies harmonious mingling without separation, as explained in the third fascicle of the 'Maulī Bhūmi'.
