The treatise says: "Having thus directly seen within oneself the aggregates, and having correctly observed and non-erroneously reflected upon them based on the principles of the truths, and so forth, up to: they can all be forever severed and definitively escaped," and so on. The meaning here is: having used the principles of the four truths to contemplate the aggregates seen in this present realm as possessing impermanence and so forth, one is able, by means of principle, to inferentially observe the unseen aggregates in other realms of different categories. That is to say, all the conditioned and tainted factors belonging to those other realms and the like, pervading the three realms and other places, in all the seeds of the aggregates and in all times of the three periods, all have such origin, can produce fruition-dharmas, are dharmas conjoined with suffering and difficulty, and constitute the truth of suffering such as birth and aging, all following such principles of suffering and impermanence; the truth of origin, such as karma and defilement among dharmas, all has the nature of cause, origin, production, and condition; if there is a dharma of cessation for these conditioned factors, peaceful, extinct, and tranquil, it is the truth of cessation; whatever path they have that can sever all defilements and definitively escape birth and death is the truth of the path. The meaning of this passage is that the practitioner uses what is directly seen in this realm to analogize to the unseen aggregates in other realms.
