The explanation says: “The wholesome root of amoha merely remedies moha, just as alobha and adveṣa merely remedy rāga and pratigha, having no further distinct aspect (ākāra). In the Abhidharmasamuccaya, it explains amoha in terms of its aspect, not meaning that the wholesome root of amoha is identical in nature to prajñā. If one follows this meaning, among the fifty-one caitta-dharmas, thirty are substantially existent and the rest are all conventionally existent. When it says thirty are substantially existent, it refers to the five sarvatragas, five viniyatas, eight kuśalas plus amoha, five root kleśas excluding improper view, and seven upakleśas; combining these thirty, they are substantially existent, and the rest are conventionally existent.”
