六相章云：一即具多名總相，多即非一是別相，多類自同成於總，各體別異現於同。一多緣起理妙成，壞住自法常不作。唯智境界非事識，以此方便會一乘。

The Chapter on the Six Characteristics says: / One possessing the many is called the universal characteristic; / The many not being one is the particular characteristic; / The many types are mutually identical, forming the universal; / Each essence is distinct, manifesting within the identical. / The pratītyasamutpāda of one and many is wondrously accomplished in principle; / Disintegrating, [each] abides in its own phenomenon, eternally doing nothing. / This is solely the realm of wisdom, not worldly consciousness; / By this upāya one converges with the One Vehicle.
