二師在寶雲，甞建淨土會，著書曰《誓生西方記》，作念佛三昧詩。其敘曰：念佛三昧，踐聖之妙道，凡揭厲于法流者，何莫由斯矣。昔遠公化尋陽群賢，皆為念佛三昧詩，遠為序。皇宋丙申，遵式會四明高尚之賓百餘人，春冬二仲一日一夜，萃寶雲講堂，想無量覺行。漢魏經壬寅既廢，適台之東山，惜無述焉。乃擬晉賢作詩，寄題于石，垂於後世也。

Second: While at Baoyun, the master once established a Pure Land society, wrote a work called 'Record of Vowing to be Born in the Western Quarter', and composed poems on the mindfulness of Buddha samādhi. His preface stated: 'The mindfulness of Buddha samādhi is the wondrous path for treading upon sanctity; for all who wade into the Dharma stream, who does not follow this? In former times, when Lord Yuan transformed the worthy gentlemen of Xunyang, they all composed poems on the mindfulness of Buddha samādhi, and Yuan wrote a preface for them. In the bingshen year of the August Song, Zunshi assembled over a hundred noble guests of Siming; during the middle months of spring and winter, for one day and one night, we gathered in the Baoyun lecture hall to contemplate the boundless awakening and practices. After being abandoned from the Han and Wei through the renyin year, I went to Dongshan of Tai, regretting that there was no account of it. Thus, emulating the worthy gentlemen of Jin, I composed poems and inscribed them on stone to bequeath them to later generations.'
