淡中有味。妙超情謂。綿綿若存兮象先。兀兀如愚兮道貴。
玉雕文以喪淳。珠在淵而自媚。
十分爽氣兮清磨暑秋。一片閑雲兮遠分天水。

Within the bland there is flavour, / marvelously transcending sentiments and words. / Continuous, as if existing—prior to forms; / motionless, as if foolish—the Way is treasured. / Jade carved with patterns loses its simplicity; / a pearl residing in the depths is naturally lovely. / Fully invigorating air—clear, it polishes the autumn heat; / a wisp of idle cloud—in the distance, it parts heaven and water.
