文辭（似茲反考聲云以言說理也古文作𤔲說文解訟也從𤔔從辛𤔔辛猶理罪也𤔔音亂亂理也今經作[舌*愛]愚人妄書不成字也）。

Words and expressions (辭 has the fanqie 似茲 [sì + zī]; the Kaosheng says: 'Expounding principles through words'; in ancient script written as 𤔲; the Shuowen says: 'Resolving litigation; it takes the semantic classifiers 𤔔 and 辛; 𤔔 and 辛 resemble arbitrating crimes'; 𤔔 has the sound 亂 [luàn], meaning to govern; in the present sūtra written as [舌*愛], which is an erroneous fabrication by foolish people, not forming a character).
