燖去（上祥簷反考聲云燂煑也以湯沃毛令脫也說文從火覃聲經作燖俗字也正作[(火/(夫-人+(厂-一)))*炎]古作[(夕/火)*(ㄆ/火)]）。

To scald away [hair] (燖去: the first [character] is *z(hang)* + *y(am)* in fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '燂 means to boil, scalding hair with boiling water to make it fall off.' The Shuowen gives it under 火 with 覃 phonetic. In the sūtra it is written as 燖, which is a vulgar character; the standard form is [(火/(夫-人+(厂-一)))*炎], and anciently written as [(夕/火)*(ㄆ/火)].)
