【婆舍跋提】或波羅尼密。《大論》云：「秦言他化自在。此天奪他所化，而自娛樂，故言他化自在。」亦名化應聲天。《別行疏》云：「是欲界頂天，假他所作，以成己樂。即魔王也。」

【Vaśavartin】 Or Paranirmita-[vaśavartin]. The *Dàzhìdù lùn* says: "In the language of Qin, it means 'Sovereignty over Others' Transformations' (Tahua zizai). This heaven seizes what others have transformed and entertains itself with it, hence it is called 'Sovereignty over Others' Transformations'." It is also called 'The Heaven of Transforming in Response to Sounds'. The *Biéxíng shū* says: "This is the highest heaven of the desire realm, which relies on what others make to achieve its own pleasure. This is the Demon King (Māra)."
