The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text. (Compared to the older sūtra, the newer one is slightly more extensive; however, judged by the Sanskrit text, the translation remains incomplete. In the *Five Spells* and the *Miscellaneous Spells*, only the spells themselves were translated, without any further ritual procedures.)
The above nine sūtras in twenty fascicles make up two cases (seven fascicles in the upper case, thirteen in the lower case).
*Guanzizai pusa suixin zhou jing* (Sūtra of the Incantation According with the Wish of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva), one fascicle (also called *Duoli xin jing* [Tārā Heart Sūtra]).
Translated by the śramaṇa Shi Zhitong of Zongchi Temple under the Great Tang (newly incorporated into the catalogue).
The above Incantation According with the Wish of Avalokiteśvara: the earlier *Five Spells Sūtra*, the first spell according with the wish of Avalokiteśvara in the *Miscellaneous Spells Sūtra*, and fascicle 5 of the *Collection of Dhāraṇīs* were all translated previously, and it is therefore compiled here.
*Zhongzhong za zhou jing* (Sūtra of Various Miscellaneous Spells), one fascicle (sometimes without the word *jing* [sūtra]).
Translated by the Tianzhu Tripiṭaka master Jñānagupta under the Yuwen clan of the Zhou (a supplement incorporated as a combined work of sole and retranslated texts).
Twenty-three miscellaneous spells in total (six spells within the *Lotus Sūtra*; one dhāraṇī for circumambulating a stūpa to eradicate sins; one spell for bowing to eradicate sins and having all buddhas welcome one at the end of life; one spell for offering to the Three Jewels; one Avalokiteśvara repentance spell; one Vajra spell; one snake spell; one spell for entering dhyāna in tranquility; one spell for carbuncles and swelling; one Vajra spell for curing diseases caused by evil demons; one thousand-turn dhāraṇī; one Avalokiteśvara spell according with the wish; four divine spells of the seven koṭis of buddhas; one divine spell according with the intention of all Tathāgatas; one six-syllable dhāraṇī spell identical to the text in the *Five Spells*; and one spell for taking refuge in the Three Jewels).
*Foding zunsheng tuoluoni jing* (Uṣṇīṣavijayā-dhāraṇī-sūtra), one fascicle.
Translated by Imperial Command by Du Xingyi, Court Gentleman for Miscellaneous Assemblies, under the Great Tang (recorded in the Great Zhou Catalogue as the first translation).
*Foding zuisheng tuoluoni jing* (Supreme Buddha-Crown Dhāraṇī Sūtra), one fascicle.
Translated by the Central Tianzhu Tripiṭaka master Divākara under the Great Tang (a supplement incorporated as the second translation).
*Foding zunsheng tuoluoni jing* (Uṣṇīṣavijayā-dhāraṇī-sūtra), one fascicle.
Translated by the Jibin śramaṇa Buddhapāli under the Great Tang (recorded in the Great Zhou Catalogue as the third translation).
