*Suvarṇaprabhāsa-sūtra*, seven fascicles (or six fascicles, twenty-two chapters)
The text and sentences of the above two works, in eleven fascicles, do not differ from the eight-fascicle edition in the canon. Since that eight-fascicle edition has the full complement of chapters, it has been retained for admission into the canon; because these two are both deficient, they have not been preserved (that eight-fascicle edition contains twenty-four chapters).
*New Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra*, seven fascicles (or ten fascicles; on checking the various canonical editions, its text is identical to that of the *Aṣṭasāhasrikā*, differing only in title, so it was not separately transcribed; as for the original standard text of the *Aṣṭasāhasrikā*, searches have failed to locate it)
*Mahāvaipulya Mahāsaṃnipāta-sūtra*, eight fascicles (this is precisely the sixth case of the combined *Mahāsaṃnipāta-sūtra*; an independent text is currently preserved: the first two fascicles are the *Sūtra of the Fifty Counts of Prajñā*, and the lower six fascicles are the *Akṣayamati*)

The above nineteen works, beginning with the Xin daoxing, comprising forty-two fascicles in total, are either
two titles for a single sūtra, or perhaps because authentic texts were unavailable at the time, only one sūtra was preserved; the duplicates are not catalogued.

The fifteen works, twenty-four fascicles, from the Xukongzang down: since they flow from major sūtras, they are extracted texts. In accordance with the Zhongjing mulu, extracted sūtras need not be copied out. Therefore, they are eliminated and not recorded in the catalogue of texts entered into the canon.

20.18.4
The three works, nine fascicles, from the Huanshi down: all were extant sūtras entered into the canon in the Zhou Catalogue, but now authentic copies have been sought without success. Hence they are not recorded in this catalogue. As for newly translated sūtras whose copies have not yet been obtained, one cannot redundantly record them.
Jingdu sanmei jing, three fascicles;
Fashe jing, two fascicles;
Piluo sanmei jing, two fascicles;
Jueding zuifu jing, one fascicle;
Yiyi jing, two fascicles;
Jiuhu shenming ji ren bingku'e jing, one fascicle;
Zuimiao shengding jing, one fascicle;
Guanshiyin sanmei jing, one fascicle;
Qingjing faxing jing, one fascicle;
Gaowang guanshiyin jing, one fascicle (also called the Shedao jing).
The ten works, fifteen fascicles, from the Jingdu jing down: all are spurious and doubtful sūtras in ancient and older catalogues. Although compiled into the main canon in the Zhou Catalogue, their principles all involve human contrivance. Therefore, in this catalogue they are eliminated and not recorded.
In all, the above comprise one hundred and eighteen works, two hundred and forty-seven fascicles. Most are sūtras seen to have been entered into the canon in various catalogues. Now, because they are all redundant or their authentic copies have been sought without success, they are not counted among the definitively recognized total. Fearing that details might not be known, I have briefly related them here. If one wishes to know their origins in detail, all are expounded at length in the Shanfan lu.
