25.15
Or when confronted with wealth we have been unyielding, lacking integrity and shame, slaughtering meat and selling wine to support ourselves through deceit. Or we have engaged in usury, calculating hours and selling days, amassing and stingily hoarding with insatiable greed, accepting offerings from others without generating shame. Or we have lacked moral conduct and falsely received offerings of the faithful, or beaten male servants and whipped female slaves, driving young servants to labour without asking of their hunger or thirst, or caring about cold or heat. Or we have torn down bridges and blocked pathways. Such sins are immeasurable and boundless; today with utmost sincerity we namas and perform kṣamā for them.
