nālie ṇaṃ bhaṃte! egapattae kiṃ egajīve? anegajīve?
evaṃ kuṃbhiuddesagavattavvayā niravasesaṃ bhāṇiyavvā|
sevaṃ bhaṃte! sevaṃ bhaṃte! tti|

"Venerable Sir, is a single-leaved nālikā [plant] one jīva or many jīvas?"
In this way, the exposition of the kumbhikā chapter should be spoken without remainder.
"That is so, Venerable Sir! That is so, Venerable Sir!"
