"Venerable Sir! Among these atom-pudgalas, numerable-space-point aggregates, innumerable-space-point aggregates, and infinite-space-point aggregates, in terms of substance, in terms of space-points, and in terms of substance and space-points, which are fewer, more, equal, or specifically greater than which?"
"Gautama! The fewest are the infinite-space-point aggregates in terms of substance; atom-pudgalas are infinitely more in terms of substance; numerable-space-point aggregates are numerably more in terms of substance; innumerable-space-point aggregates are innumerably more in terms of substance. In terms of space-points: the fewest are infinite-space-point aggregates in terms of space-points; atom-pudgalas are infinitely more in terms of having no space-points [beyond one]; numerable-space-point aggregates are numerably more in terms of space-points; innumerable-space-point aggregates are innumerably more in terms of space-points. In terms of substance and space-points: the fewest are infinite-space-point aggregates in terms of substance; those very ones are infinitely more in terms of space-points; atom-pudgalas are infinitely more in terms of substance and space-points; numerable-space-point aggregates are numerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are numerably more in terms of space-points; innumerable-space-point aggregates are innumerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are innumerably more in terms of space-points.

"Venerable Sir! Among these pudgalas occupying one space-point, occupying numerable space-points, and occupying innumerable space-points, in terms of substance, in terms of space-points, and in terms of substance and space-points, which are fewer, more, equal, or specifically greater than which?"
"Gautama! The fewest are pudgalas occupying one space-point in terms of substance; pudgalas occupying numerable space-points are numerably more in terms of substance; pudgalas occupying innumerable space-points are innumerably more in terms of substance. In terms of space-points: the fewest are pudgalas occupying one space-point in terms of having no [multiple] space-points; pudgalas occupying numerable space-points are numerably more in terms of space-points; pudgalas occupying innumerable space-points are innumerably more in terms of space-points. In terms of substance and space-points: the fewest are pudgalas occupying one space-point in terms of substance and having no [multiple] space-points; pudgalas occupying numerable space-points are numerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are numerably more in terms of space-points; pudgalas occupying innumerable space-points are innumerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are innumerably more in terms of space-points.

"Venerable Sir! Among these pudgalas with a lifespan duration of one samaya, with a lifespan duration of numerable samayas, and with a lifespan duration of innumerable samayas?"
Just as with space-occupancy, so also the relative quantity must be stated for lifespan duration.

"Venerable Sir! Among these pudgalas of one degree of blackness, of numerable degrees of blackness, of innumerable degrees of blackness, and of infinite degrees of blackness, in terms of substance, in terms of space-points, and in terms of substance and space-points, which are fewer, more, equal, or specifically greater than which?"
Their relative quantity is just like the relative quantity of atom-pudgalas; so too is the relative quantity of these. The same applies to the remaining colors, smells, and tastes.

"Venerable Sir! Among these pudgalas of one degree of roughness, of numerable degrees of roughness, of innumerable degrees of roughness, and of infinite degrees of roughness, in terms of substance, in terms of space-points, and in terms of substance and space-points, which are fewer, more, equal, or specifically greater than which?"
"Gautama! The fewest are pudgalas of one degree of roughness in terms of substance; pudgalas of numerable degrees of roughness are numerably more in terms of substance; pudgalas of innumerable degrees of roughness are innumerably more in terms of substance; pudgalas of infinite degrees of roughness are infinitely more in terms of substance. In terms of space-points it is just the same, with the only difference being: pudgalas of numerable degrees of roughness are innumerably more in terms of space-points; the rest is just the same. In terms of substance and space-points: the fewest are pudgalas of one degree of roughness in terms of substance and space-points; pudgalas of numerable degrees of roughness are numerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are numerably more in terms of space-points; pudgalas of innumerable degrees of roughness are innumerably more in terms of substance; those very ones are innumerably more in terms of space-points; pudgalas of infinite degrees of roughness are infinitely more in terms of substance; those very ones are infinitely more in terms of space-points.
So too is the relative quantity of smooth, heavy, and light. For cold, hot, unctuous, and dry, it is just like for the colors."
