「若五識身至外門轉故」者，釋第六句。五識無分別故不能為轉，外門起故能為隨轉。
"If the five sense-consciousness bodies... because they function in the external sphere": this explains the sixth line [of the verse]. Because the five consciousnesses lack conceptual discrimination, they cannot be the motivators (pravartaka); because they arise in the external sphere, they can be the concurrent motivators (anupravartaka).
