2.34

The treatise says: "Fourth, the citta-viprayukta-saṃskāra-dharmas are, in brief, of twenty-four kinds: 1. possession (prāpti), 2. life-faculty (jīvitendriya), 3. generic similarity (nikāya-sabhāgatā), 4. state of an ordinary person (pṛthagjanatva), 5. non-conceptual absorption (asaṃjñi-samāpatti), 6. absorption of cessation (nirodha-samāpatti), 7. state of non-conception (āsaṃjñika), 8. name-group (nāma-kāya), 9. phrase-group (pada-kāya), 10. phoneme-group (vyañjana-kāya), 11. origination (jāti), 12. aging (jarā), 13. subsistence (sthiti), 14. impermanence (anityatā), 15. continuity (pravṛtti), 16. specific differentiation (pratiniyama), 17. association (yoga), 18. speed (jāva), 19. sequence (anukrama), 20. spatial direction (diś), 21. time (kāla), 22. number (saṃkhyā), 23. harmony (sāmagrī), and 24. disharmony (asāmagrī)."
