those titled as translated by Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin are erroneous; the old *Original Vows Sūtra* is indeed the translation by Dharmarakṣa, as shown below).
Assembly 43: Assembly of Samantaprabhā Bodhisattva, one fascicle. Old translation.
Now appended to the Qin catalogue. Compared with the Indic text and incorporated. Third translation.
The above is an old translation of an alternative version, originally the single-fascicle *Mahāratnakūṭa-sūtra*, newly retitled *Assembly of Samantaprabhā Bodhisattva*. It is an alternative translation of the same text as the two sūtras *Moheyan baoyan* (*Mahāyāna Ratnālaṃkāra*) and *Fo yiri moni bao* (*The Sun-Left Mani Jewel of the Buddha*). It corresponds to fascicle 112. This old Ratnakūṭa sūtra has an explanatory commentary in four fascicles.
Assembly 44: Assembly of the Heap of Jewels (Ratnarāśi), two fascicles.
Translated by the monk Shi Daogong of the Northern Liang. Compared with the Indic text and incorporated.
The above is an old translation of a unique version, corresponding to fascicles 113 and 114.
Assembly 45: Assembly of Akṣayamati Bodhisattva, two fascicles, including the subsequent portion.
Translated under imperial order by Bodhiruci, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang.
The above is a new translation of a unique version, corresponding to the beginning of fascicle 115.
Assembly 46: Assembly of the Prajñā Spoken by Mañjuśrī, including the preceding portion.
Translated by Mandrasena, Tripiṭaka master of the Liang. First translation. Compared with the Indic text and incorporated.
The above is an old translation of an alternative version, being an alternative translation of the same text as the *Mañjuśrī Section* of the *Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra* and the *Mañjuśrī Prajñā* translated by Saṅghapāla. It extends from the middle of fascicle 115 to the end of fascicle 116. Those manuscripts titled as translated by Saṅghapāla are in error.
Assembly 47: Assembly of Ratnacūḍa Bodhisattva, two fascicles.
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin.
The above is an old translation of an alternative version, also called *Sūtra on the Pure Practices of Bodhisattvas*. It is an alternative translation of the same text as the *Ratnacūḍa Chapter* of the *Mahāsaṃnipāta* and the *Sūtra on the Pure Practices of Bodhisattvas* produced by Kang Senghui. It corresponds to fascicles 117 and 118. This Ratnacūḍa Assembly has an explanatory commentary in one fascicle.
Assembly 48: Assembly of Queen Śrīmālā, one fascicle.
Newly translated by Bodhiruci, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang. Third translation.
The above is a new translation of an alternative version, being an alternative translation of the same text as the old *Śrīmālādevī-siṃhanāda-eka-yāna-mahā-upāya-nirdeśa-sūtra* and others. It corresponds to fascicle 119.
Assembly 49: Assembly of the Sage Vyāsa, one fascicle.
Newly translated by Bodhiruci, Tripiṭaka master of the Great Tang. Second translation.
The above is a new translation of an alternative version, being an alternative translation of the same text as the old *Vyāsa-paripṛcchā-sūtra*. It corresponds to fascicle 120 (when comparing this new translation with the old sūtra, the latter part of its text is incomplete, lacking nearly one sheet; some have spliced the old sūtra into it, intending to make its meaning fully complete).
*Sūtra on the Three Moral Codes of Great Scope*, three fascicles.
Translated by Dharmakṣema, Tripiṭaka master from India, under the Northern Liang. Taken from the Fashang Catalogue. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's first assembly, the *Assembly of the Three Moral Codes*.
*Sūtra of Immeasurable Purity and Equal Awakening*, two fascicles (also simply called *Sūtra of Immeasurable Purity*).
Translated by Lokakṣema, Tripiṭaka master from the Yuezhi, under the Later Han. Second translation.
*Amitābha-sūtra*, two fascicles (the internal title reads *Sūtra Spoken by the Buddha on the Transmutation into the Human Realm by the Buddhas, Amitābha, the Perfectly Awakened Ones, and All Buddhas*).
Translated by Zhi Qian, courtesy name Gongming, Upāsaka of the Yuezhi, under the Wu. Third translation.
*Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra*, two fascicles. Translated by Saṅghavarman, Tripiṭaka master from India, under the Cao Wei.
Fourth translation.
The above three sūtras are alternative translations of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's fifth assembly, the *Assembly of the Tathāgata of Immeasurable Life* (together with this fifth assembly, there are eleven translations in total, new and old, seven of which are missing texts. Bodhisattva Vasubandhu composed a commentary in one fascicle based on the meaning of the sūtra).
The above four sūtras, comprising nine fascicles, form a single case.
*Akṣobhyatathāgatasyavyūha-sūtra*, two fascicles (also named *Sūtra on the Accomplishment of the Practices of All Bodhisattvas in the Buddha-field of Akṣobhya*).
Translated by Lokakṣema, Tripiṭaka master from the Yuezhi, under the Later Han. First translation. Of three translations, one is missing.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's sixth assembly, the *Assembly of Akṣobhya Tathāgata*.
*Recitation Ritual of Akṣobhya Tathāgata*, one fascicle (the internal title of the sūtra reads *Recitation and Offering Ritual*).
Translated under imperial order by the Tripiṭaka master, the monk Daguangzhi Amoghavajra of Daxingshan Monastery.
Newly entered into the catalogue in Zhenyuan.
*Sūtra on the Ten Dharmas of the Mahāyāna*, one fascicle. The opening states: "The Buddha was dwelling in Rājagṛha."
Translated by Saṅghapāla, Tripiṭaka master from Funan, under the Liang. Supplemented and incorporated. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's ninth assembly, the *Assembly on the Ten Dharmas of the Mahāyāna*.
*Universal Gate Chapter Sūtra*, one fascicle. Also called *Universal Gate Sūtra*.
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's tenth assembly, the *Assembly on the Universal Gate of Mañjuśrī* (the Zhou Catalogue took it to be an offshoot extract of the *Lotus Sūtra*, which is an egregious error. Of three translations, new and old, one is missing).
*Womb Sūtra*, one fascicle. Also named *Sūtra on Receiving a Body in the Womb*.
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's thirteenth assembly, the *Assembly of the Buddha Explaining the Dwelling in the Womb to Ānanda* (according to old catalogues, this *Womb Sūtra* was catalogued as a single Hīnayāna translation; it is now appended here by following its class).
*Sūtra on the Adornment and Purification of the Buddha-field of Mañjuśrī*, three fascicles (sometimes simply called *Sūtra on Purifying the Buddha-field*, or simply *Adornment and Purification of the Buddha-field*).
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin. First translation. Of three translations, one is missing.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's fifteenth assembly, the *Assembly of the Bestowal of Prophecy on Mañjuśrī*.
*Sūtra on the Merits and Adornments of the Buddha-field of the Great Sage Bodhisattva Mañjuśrī*, three fascicles.

Newly entered into the catalogue in Zhenyuan.
*Mirror of the Dharma Sūtra*, two fascicles, or one fascicle.
Translated jointly by An Xuan, Upāsaka of Parthia, and the monk Yan Fotiao, under the Later Han.
First translation.
The above eight sūtras, comprising thirteen fascicles, form a single case.
*Sūtra on the Householder Ugra's Inquiry into the Bodhisattva Practices*, one fascicle.
Also called *Ugraparipṛcchā-sūtra*, or in two fascicles.
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin. Fourth translation. Of six translations, three are missing.
The above two sūtras are alternative translations of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's nineteenth assembly, the *Assembly of the Elder Ugra*.
*Sūtra on the Magician Bhadra*, one fascicle. Also called *Sūtra on the Benevolent Magician*.
Translated by Dharmarakṣa, Tripiṭaka master of the Western Jin. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's twenty-first assembly, the *Assembly of the Bestowal of Prophecy on the Magician*.
*Sūtra on the Decisive Vinaya*, one fascicle. Also named *Destroying All Mind and Consciousness*.
All the various catalogues state it was translated in Dunhuang, without ever indicating the translator's name or the era. Now appended to the Eastern Jin catalogue. First translation.
The above single sūtra is an alternative translation of the same text as the Ratnakūṭa's twenty-fourth assembly, the *Assembly of Upāli*.
*Sūtra on Inspiring the Pure Resolve*, two fascicles.
Translated by Jñānagupta, Tripiṭaka master from India, under the Sui. First translation.

Translated by the monk Faju of the Western Jin. Supplemented and incorporated. First translation.
