"Venerable Sir! A wind-bodied soul undergoing [death-]samudghāta in the interval between this Ratnaprabhā earth and Śarkarāprabhā earth, having undergone [death-]samudghāta, who is fit to be reborn as a wind-bodied soul in the Saudharma kalpa?" In this manner, just as in the seventeenth śataka in the uddeśaka on wind-bodied souls, so here too; with the sole difference that [death-]samudghāta in the intervals is to be understood; the rest is just the same, up to: undergoing [death-]samudghāta in the interval between the Anuttara celestial abodes and Īṣatprāgbhārā earth, having undergone [death-]samudghāta, who is fit to be reborn as a wind-bodied soul in the dense-air and thin-air [rings], in the dense-air and thin-air rings; the rest is just the same, up to: for that reason... up to would be reborn.
"That is so, Venerable Sir! That is so, Venerable Sir!"
