tava kara-kamala-vare nakhaṃ adbhuta-śṛṅgaṃ dalita-hiraṇyakaśipu-tanu-bhṛṅgaṃ |
keśava dhṛta-nara-hari-rūpa jaya jagad-īśa hare ||
On your excellent lotus-hand the nail is a wondrous claw that tears apart the bee-like body of Hiraṇyakaśipu.
O Keśava who assumed the form of the man-lion, triumph, Hari, Lord of the world!
