2.1.16

vedān uddharate jagat nivahate bhūgolam udbibhrate
daityam dārayate balim chalayate kṣatra-kṣayam kurvate /
paulastyam jayate halam kalayate kāruṇyam ātanvate
mlecchān mūrcchayate daśa-ākṛti-kṛte kṛṣṇāya tubhyam namaḥ //

Rescuing the Vedas, carrying the world, bearing aloft the earth-globe, / tearing apart the demon, deceiving Bali, destroying the kṣatriyas, / conquering the descendant of Pulastya, wielding the plow, extending compassion, / and overcoming the barbarians—homage to you, Kṛṣṇa, who assumed ten forms!
