2.7.1

atra antare ca kulaṭā-kula-vartma-pāta-
saṃjāta-pātakaḥ iva sphuṭa-lāñchana-śrīḥ /
vṛndāvana-antaram adīpayat aṃśu-jālaiḥ
diksundarī-vadana-candana-binduḥ induḥ //

And in the meantime, as if stained with sin from descending upon the path of unchaste women, / its radiant spot clearly visible, / the moon, a sandalwood drop on the face of the maiden that is the direction, / illuminated the interior of Vṛndāvana with rays of light.
