Wu Pin Jing (Sūtra of the Wu Chapter), five fascicles (namely the Xiaopin Banruo [Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā]), translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Kang Senghui of the Wu (third translation).
Xin Daoxing Jing (New Daoxing Sūtra), ten fascicles (also titled Xiaopin, or in seven fascicles; Dao'an's catalogue calls it Gengchu Xiaopin [Newly Re-translated Xiaopin]), translated by the tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin (fourth translation). (Note: furthermore, according to catalogues such as that of Fei Changfang, Dharmarakṣa's translations also include a Xiaopin Jing in seven fascicles. This is incorrect. Since Master Dharmarakṣa had already translated the Xin Daoxing Jing, he would not separately translate the Xiaopin. In addition, the note on the Daoxing states that it is also titled Xiaopin. Furthermore, the catalogue of Yishan Temple lists a Da Zhidu Wuji Jing in four fascicles, also stating it was produced by Master Dharmarakṣa. Since it shares the same original text as the Daoxing, it would not have been separately translated either. As they are redundant, they are not retained here.)
Da Zhidu Jing (Sūtra of the Great Wisdom and Transformed Passage), four fascicles, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Gītāmitra of the Eastern Jin (fifth translation).
The above three sūtras share the same original text as the Fourth Assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra. In all, there were eight translations: five translations are preserved in the canon, and three are lost. (Catalogues such as that of Fei Changfang, when listing Kumārajīva's sūtras, also include a Fangguang Banruo in twenty fascicles. This is incorrect. Since Master Kumārajīva had already translated the Dapin, he would not have translated the Fangguang again. Its inclusion is an error.)
Rushou Pusa Wushang Qingjing Fenwei Jing (Sūtra on Bodhisattva Rushou's Supreme Pure Alms-gathering), two fascicles (also titled Jueliao Zhufa Ruhan Sanmei Jing [Sūtra on the Samādhi of Decisively Understanding All Phenomena as Illusory]; or in one fascicle), translated by the śramaṇa Yan Fodiao of Linhuai under the Later Han (first translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the Eighth Assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra. In all, there were three translations: two translations are preserved in the canon, and one is lost.
Renwang Banruo Jing (Benevolent Kings Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra), one fascicle (or two fascicles, thirty-one sheets), translated by the tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin (first translation).
Renwang Banruo Jing (Benevolent Kings Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Paramārtha of the Liang (third translation).
The above sūtra had three translations in all: one translation is preserved in the canon, and two are lost.
Banruoboluomiduo Na Jing (Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Bodhiruci under the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang (newly catalogued; third translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the Daming Zhou Jing and others. In all, there were three translations: two translations are preserved in the canon, and one is lost.
Daoxing Jing (Daoxing Sūtra), one fascicle (Master Dao'an says this is an excerpt of the Prajñāpāramitā composed by an eminent and insightful foreign master; Dao'an composed a preface for it), translated by the Indian śramaṇa Zhu Foshuo of the Later Han.
Although the above sūtra is named Daoxing, its fascicle volume is extremely small; it cannot be taken as sharing the same original text as the earlier Daoxing and others. It is recorded separately for now.
Mohe Banruoboluomi Zhou Jing (Mahāprajñāpāramitā Dhāraṇī Sūtra), one fascicle (sometimes without the word "Mahā"), translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian of the Wu.
Mohe Banruo Suixin Jing (Mahāprajñā Heart-accordance Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Khotan tripiṭaka master Śikṣānanda under the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang (newly catalogued).
From the Wu Pin Jing downwards, ten works in twenty-seven fascicles are lost texts from the Prajñā section.
Wuliangshou Jing (Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), two fascicles, translated by the Parthian tripiṭaka master An Shigao of the Later Han (first translation).
Wuliang Qingjing Pingdengjue Jing (Sūtra of Immeasurable Purity and Equal Awakening), two fascicles, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Bo Yan of the Cao Wei (fifth translation). (Note: furthermore, catalogues such as that of Fei Changfang, among the translations of Bo Yan, also list a Pingdengjue Jing in one fascicle, which is none other than the aforementioned sūtra. To avoid redundancy, it is not recorded.)
Wuliangshou Jing (Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), two fascicles (also called Wuliang Qingjing Pingdengjue Jing), translated by the tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin (sixth translation).
Wuliangshou Zhizhen Dengkaijue Jing (Sūtra of the Truly Awakened One of Immeasurable Life), one fascicle (also titled Yue Fotu Yue Jing [Sūtra on the Delight of the Joyous Buddha-land]; also titled Jile Fotu Jing [Sūtra of the Utmost Bliss Buddha-land]), translated by the foreign śramaṇa Zhu Fali of the Eastern Jin (seventh translation).
Xin Wuliangshou Jing (New Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), two fascicles, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Buddhabhadra of the Eastern Jin (also stated to have been produced in the second year of the Yongchu era of the Song; eighth translation).
Xin Wuliangshou Jing (New Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), two fascicles, translated by the śramaṇa Shi Baoyun of Liangzhou under the Song (ninth translation).
Xin Wuliangshou Jing (New Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), two fascicles, translated by the Kaśmīra tripiṭaka master Dharmamitra of the Song (drawn from the catalogue of Zhenji Temple; tenth translation).
The above seven sūtras share the same original text as the fifth assembly, the Assembly on the Sūtra of Immeasurable Life, of the Mahāratnakūṭa. This sūtra had eleven translations in all: four translations are preserved in the canon, and seven are lost.
Achufosha Zhu Pusa Xuechengpin Jing (Sūtra of the Chapter on the Completion of Bodhisattvas' Training in the Buddha-field of Akṣobhya), three fascicles, translated by the śramaṇa Zhi Daogen of the Eastern Jin (third translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the sixth assembly, the Assembly of Akṣobhya Tathāgata. In all, there were three translations: two are preserved, and one is lost.
Fajie Tixing Wufenbie Jing (Sūtra on the Indivisibility of the Essence of the Dharmadhātu), two fascicles, translated by the tripiṭaka master Kumārajīva of the Yao Qin (drawn from Master Fashang's catalogue; first translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the eighth assembly, the Assembly on the Essence of the Dharmadhātu. In all, there were two translations: one is preserved, and one is lost.
Pumenpin Jing (Sūtra of the Universal Gate Chapter), one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Gītāmitra of the Eastern Jin (second translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the tenth assembly, the Assembly of Mañjuśrī's Universal Gate. In all, there were three translations: two are preserved, and one is lost.
Yanjing Fotu Jing (Sūtra on Adorning and Purifying the Buddha-land), two fascicles (also titled Jingtu Jing [Pure Land Sūtra]), translated by the śramaṇa Bai Fazu of Henan under the Western Jin (second translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the fifteenth assembly, the Assembly of Mañjuśrī's Prediction. In all, there were three translations: two are preserved, and one is lost.
Pusazang Jing (Bodhisattvapiṭaka-sūtra), three fascicles, translated by the tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa of the Western Jin (first translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the seventeenth assembly, the Assembly of Pūrṇa. In all, there were two translations: one is preserved, and one is lost.
Fajing Jing (Mirror of the Law Sūtra), two fascicles (or one fascicle), translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian of the Wu (second translation). (Note: furthermore, catalogues such as that of Fei Changfang, among Zhi Qian's translations, also list a Youjia Zhangzhe Jing in two fascicles, which is the Fajing Jing itself. To avoid redundancy, it is not recorded.)
Youjialuoyue Wen Pusa Jing (Sūtra on Bodhisattva Questioned by Ugra), one fascicle, translated by the śramaṇa Bai Fazu of Henan under the Western Jin (fifth translation).
Youjia Zhangzhe Suowen Jing (Sūtra Questioned by the Elder Ugra), one fascicle, translated by the Kaśmīra tripiṭaka master Dharmamitra of the Song (sixth translation).
The above three sūtras share the same original text as the nineteenth assembly, the Assembly of the Elder Ugra. In all, there were six translations: three are preserved, and three are lost.
Miaohui Tongnü Suowen Jing (Sūtra Questioned by the Maiden Vimaladattā), one fascicle, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Bodhiruci under the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang (newly catalogued; third translation).
The above sūtra shares the same original text as the thirtieth assembly, the Assembly of the Maiden Vimaladattā. In all, there were four translations: three are preserved, and one is lost.
Asheshiwang Nü Ashuda Pusa Jing (Sūtra on Bodhisattva Acyutā, Daughter of King Ajātaśatru), one fascicle, translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian of the Wu (first translation).
Ashuda Jing (Acyutā Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Gītāmitra of the Eastern Jin (third translation).
Ashuda Pusa Jing (Bodhisattva Acyutā Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Zhu Fajuan of the Song (fourth translation).
The above three sūtras share the same original text as the thirty-second assembly, the Assembly of Bodhisattva Abhayapradā. In all, there were five translations: two are preserved, and three are lost. (Note: furthermore, catalogues such as that of Fei Changfang state that Dharmarakṣa also had an Asheshiwang Nü Wuyoushi Jing in one

fascicles. This is merely a difference between Sanskrit and Jin phonetic transcription, and they should not be entered twice. "Ashuda" is the Sanskrit term, while "Wuyoushi" is the Jin language. The bibliographers were mistaken to record both sūtras.)
*Ruhuan sanmei jing* (Sūtra on the Like-an-Illusion Samādhi), two fascicles (or one fascicle), translated by the Parthian Tripiṭaka master An Shigao under the Later Han (First translation).
*Ruhuan sanmei jing* (Sūtra on the Like-an-Illusion Samādhi), two fascicles, translated by the Western Regions Tripiṭaka master Jñānagupta under the Eastern Jin (Third translation).
*Ruyou sanmei jing* (Sūtra on the Like-an-Infant Samādhi), two fascicles, translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Shilun under the Former Liang (Appears in the colophon to the *Śūraṅgama*; fourth translation; newly entered into the catalogue).
*Shengguan zhuyi tianzi suowen jing* (Sūtra of the Questions of the Devaputra Susthitamati), four fascicles, translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Jñānagupta under the Sui (Sixth translation).
The above four sūtras are different translations of the same text as the thirty-sixth assembly, "Devaputra Susthitamati." In total there were seven translations; three are extant and four are lost.
*Huishang pusa wen da shanquan jing* (Sūtra of the Questions of Bodhisattva Jñānottara on the Great Skillful Means), two fascicles (also without the word "Bodhisattva", or in one fascicle), translated by the śramaṇa Yan Fotiao of Linhuai under the Later Han (First translation).
*Da shanquan jing* (Sūtra on the Great Skillful Means), two fascicles, translated by the Tripiṭaka master Kumārajīva under the Yao Qin (Fourth translation).
*Huishang pusa wen da shanquan jing* (Sūtra of the Questions of Bodhisattva Jñānottara on the Great Skillful Means), two fascicles (also titled *Huishang pusa jing*; simply titled *Da shanquan jing*; or titled *Dacheng fangbian jing*), translated by the Western Regions Tripiṭaka master Saṅghabhadra under the Northern Liang (Fifth translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text as the thirty-eighth assembly, "Mahāyāna Skillful Means." In total there were five translations; two are extant and three are lost.
*Mile suowen benyuan jing* (Sūtra on the Past Vows Asked by Maitreya), one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions Tripiṭaka master Jñānagupta under the Eastern Jin (Second translation).
The above sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the forty-second assembly, "Asked by Maitreya." In total there were three translations; two are extant and one is lost.
*Pusa jingxing jing* (Sūtra on the Bodhisattva's Pure Conduct), two fascicles (also called *Jinglü jing*), translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Kang Senghui under the Wu (First translation of an extracted chapter).
The above sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the forty-seventh assembly, "Bodhisattva Ratnacūḍa." This is the "Ratnacūḍa Chapter" of the *Mahāsaṃnipāta*. Excluding the root sūtra, there were two translations in total; one is extant and one is lost.
*Shengman jing* (Śrīmālādevī-sūtra), one fascicle (also called *Shengman shizi hou yisheng da fangbian jing*), translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Dharmakṣema under the Northern Liang (First translation).
The above sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the forty-eighth assembly, "Lady Śrīmālā." In total there were three translations; two are extant and one is lost.
*Baoji jing* (Ratnakūṭa Sūtra), three fascicles, translated by the Tripiṭaka master and meditation master Jñānayaśas under the Northern Zhou of the Yuwen clan.
Although the above sūtra is titled *Baoji*, since there is no text available to collate, it is unknown which assembly it shares the same original with; it is noted here at the end.
From the *Wuliangshou jing* downward, there are thirty works in fifty-four fascicles: lost texts from the Ratnakūṭa section.
*Dafangdeng daji jing* (Mahāvaipulya Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra), twenty-seven fascicles, translated by the Yuezhi Tripiṭaka master Lokakṣema under the Later Han (First translation).
*Dafangdeng daji jing* (Mahāvaipulya Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra), thirty fascicles (sometimes with the word "new", or in twenty-four fascicles), translated by the Tripiṭaka master Kumārajīva under the Yao Qin (Second translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text. In total there were three translations; one text is preserved in the canon and two are lost.
*Xukongzang pusa jing* (Ākāśagarbha Bodhisattva Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Guṇabhadra under the Liu Song (Third translation).
The above sūtra had four translations in total; three are extant and one is lost.
*Banzhou sanmei jing* (Pratyutpanna Samādhi Sūtra), two fascicles (sometimes with the word "Great" added, or in one fascicle), translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Zhu Foshuo under the Later Han (Second translation).
*Banzhou sanmei jing* (Pratyutpanna Samādhi Sūtra), one fascicle (a retranslation of the last ten chapters; Dao'an's catalogue lists one in one fascicle, not three fascicles), translated by the Yuezhi Tripiṭaka master Lokakṣema under the Later Han (From Jingtai's catalogue; third translation).
*Banzhou sanmei nianfo zhang jing* (Sūtra of the Pratyutpanna Samādhi Chapter on Recollection of the Buddha), one fascicle (an independent translation of the "Practice Chapter"), an anonymous translation of the Later Han dynasty (Fourth translation).
*Banzhou sanmei jing* (Pratyutpanna Samādhi Sūtra), two fascicles (Master Dao'an's catalogue calls it a further retranslation of the *Pratyutpanna Samādhi Sūtra*), translated by the Western Jin Tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa (Sixth translation).
The above four sūtras are different translations of the same text. In total there were seven translations; three are extant and four are lost (four were complete versions and three were extracted translations).
*Achamo pusa jing* (Akṣayamati Bodhisattva Sūtra), four fascicles, translated by the Indian śramaṇa Vighna under the Wu (First translation).
*Achamo pusa jing* (Akṣayamati Bodhisattva Sūtra), four fascicles, translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian under the Wu (Second translation).
*Wujinyi jing* (Akṣayamati Sūtra), ten fascicles, translated by the Indian Tripiṭaka master Zhu Fajuan under the Liu Song (Fifth translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text. In total there were five translations; two texts are preserved in the canon and three are lost. (Furthermore, in catalogues like Fei Changfang's, under Dharmarakṣa's translations there is also a *Wujinyi jing* in four fascicles. Given that Dharmarakṣa had already produced the *Achamo jing*, he should not have produced the *Wujinyi* again. The title of the *Achamo jing* states: "In the Jin language, Akṣayamati." The cataloguer's note says: "or in four fascicles." This is merely a difference between the Sanskrit and Jin names; in reality it was one single sūtra, yet the catalogues preserve both texts, which is a gross error.)
*Xiao achamo jing* (Lesser Akṣayamati Sūtra), two fascicles, translated by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian under the Wu.
Since this single sūtra adds the word "Lesser", it should not be the same text as the preceding sūtras.
*Fangdeng zhu xukongzang jing* (Vaipulya Master Ākāśagarbha Sūtra), eight fascicles (also called *Questions of Ākāśagarbha*, or in five fascicles), translated by the śramaṇa Shi Shengjian under the Qifu Qin.
The above sūtra is an alternate translation of the Ākāśagarbha chapter of the *Mahāsaṃnipāta*. Even if it were present in the canon, it would be an extracted text. The Ākāśagarbha chapter was translated by Dharmakṣema, not a separate translation (or perhaps this sūtra was translated by Dharmakṣema, and was not produced by Shengjian).
*Dingyi tianzi suowen jing* (Sūtra of the Questions of Devaputra Samāhitamati), five fascicles (extracted from the *Mahāsaṃnipāta*; now suspected to be the same text as the *Susthitamati Sūtra*), translated by the Tripiṭaka master and meditation master Jñānayaśas under the Northern Zhou of the Yuwen clan.
From the *Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra* downward, there are thirteen works in ninety-seven fascicles: lost texts from the Mahāsaṃnipāta section.
*Ru rulai zhi busiyiyi jing* (Sūtra on Entering the Inconceivable Wisdom of the Tathāgata), three fascicles, translated by the Tripiṭaka master and meditation master Jñānayaśas under the Northern Zhou of the Yuwen clan (Appears in the *Fanyi tu*; second translation).
The above sūtra had four translations in total; three are extant and one is lost.
*Pusa shidi jing* (Bodhisattva Daśabhūmika Sūtra), one fascicle (also called *Dafangguang jing* or simply *Shidi jing*), translated by the Tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa under the Western Jin (First translation).
*Dafangguang pusa shidi jing* (Mahāvaipulya Bodhisattva Daśabhūmika Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the pure-faith layman Nie Daozhen under the Western Jin (Second translation).
*Shidi jing* (Daśabhūmika Sūtra), one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions Tripiṭaka master Jñānagupta under the Eastern Jin (Third translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text. In total there were five translations; two are extant and three are lost.
*Dafangguang busheng bumie jing* (Mahāvaipulya Sūtra of Non-Arising and Non-Cessation), one fascicle, translated by the Khotanese Tripiṭaka master Śikṣānanda under the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang (Newly entered into the catalogue; sole translation).
*Dafangguang rulai nan siyiyi jingjie jing* (Mahāvaipulya Sūtra on the Inconceivable Realm of the Tathāgata), one fascicle, translated by the Khotanese Tripiṭaka master Śikṣānanda under the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang (Newly entered into the catalogue; sole translation).
*Fozang fangdeng jing* (Buddha-Treasury Vaipulya Sūtra), one fascicle (also titled *Wen mingxian jing*), translated by the śramaṇa Shi Daoyan under the Liu Song.
Regarding the above sūtra, the Sui dynasty śramaṇa Fajing's catalogue states: it is the "Clarifying

…different translation of the Nan chapter. This sūtra is now lost (in the old sūtra it is in the sixth fascicle, in the new sūtra in the thirteenth).
*Bodhisattva-benye jing* in one fascicle (this is the "Jingxing pin" ["Purification of Practice" Chapter] of the *Avataṃsaka*; also called simply *Benye jing*), translated by Tripiṭaka Master Buddhabhadra of India under the Eastern Jin (third translation).
The above, together with the root chapter, has five translations in all: four texts are in the canon and one is lost. (Since the old *Avataṃsaka-sūtra* was translated by Buddhabhadra [Juexian], it is not appropriate to list this *Benye jing* separately. Because the Great Zhou Catalogue entered it into the canon, yet the text has not been seen, it is temporarily recorded here. Furthermore, Fei Changfang's catalogue records Zhi Qian as having made a second translation of the *Jingxing pin jing*, which is an error; the note to that *Jingxing jing* states: "Also named *Pusa benye jing*.")
*Pusa shifazhu jing* in two fascicles (this is the "Shizhu pin" ["Ten Abodes" Chapter]), translated by the Upāsaka Nie Daozhen under the Western Jin (third translation).
The above, together with the root chapter, has five translations in all: four texts are in the canon and one is lost. (In the catalogues of Fei Changfang and others, there is also a *Pusa shizhu jing* in one fascicle, which is said to have been translated by Buddhabhadra under the Eastern Jin. Examining this: since Buddhabhadra already translated the large text, it is not appropriate to list this sūtra separately; Changfang's catalogue is mistaken.)
*Shizhu jing* in twelve fascicles (this is the "Shidi pin" ["Ten Stages" Chapter]), translated by the Upāsaka Nie Daozhen under the Western Jin (second translation).
The above, together with the root chapter, has five translations in all: four texts are in the canon and one is lost.
*Luomojia jing* in three fascicles (this is a small portion of the "Ru fajie pin" ["Entering the Dharma Realm" Chapter]), translated by Tripiṭaka Master An Faxian of the Western Regions under the Cao Wei (first translation).
*Luomojia jing* in one fascicle (this is a small portion of the "Ru fajie pin" ["Entering the Dharma Realm" Chapter]), translated by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmakṣema of India under the Northern Liang (fourth translation).
The above, together with the root chapter, has five translations in all: three texts are in the canon and two are lost.
From the *Ru rulai zhi busiyiyi jing* downwards: twelve works in twenty-seven fascicles; lost texts in the Avataṃsaka section.
*Fan ban nihuan jing* in two fascicles (the old catalogues say *Hu ban*; this has now been changed to the character *Fan*; or in one fascicle), translated by Tripiṭaka Master Lokakṣema of the Yuezhi under the Later Han (first translation).
*Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra* in two fascicles: Tripiṭaka Master An Faxian of foreign lands under the Cao Wei abridged the earlier chapters into two fascicles (second translation).
*Da ban nihuan jing* in two fascicles: Upāsaka Zhi Qian of Wu translated the "Introductory Chapter" and the "Lamentation Chapter" into two fascicles (third translation).
*Ban nihuan jing* in twenty fascicles, translated by Śramaṇa Zhimeng of Yongzhou in Liangzhou under the Northern Liang (sixth translation).
The above, together with the large text of the *Nirvāṇa* and the newly translated Latter Portion, has seven translations in all: three texts are in the canon and four are lost. (Furthermore, the Great Zhou Catalogue cites Zhu Daozu's catalogue, stating: "In the thirteenth year of the Yixi reign of the Eastern Jin [417 CE], Buddhabhadra translated the *Da ban nihuan jing* in one fascicle—or said to be ten fascicles—at Daochang Temple; this is the first ten fascicles of the large text, down through the 'Chapter on the Questions of the Great Assembly.'" Now, investigating the various catalogues, biographies, and accounts: Faxian's translation of the *Da ban nihuan* was also translated in the thirteenth year of Yixi at Daochang Temple. The various scriptures translated by Faxian were all co-translated with Buddhabhadra [Juexian]; the headings and notes of the various catalogues largely overlap. Since the time and place are the same, it was certainly not an independent re-translation. They are now combined into one and not preserved separately.)
From the *Fan ban nihuan jing* downwards: four works in twenty-six fascicles; lost texts in the Nirvāṇa section.
*Shu puyao jing* in eight fascicles: anonymous translation (it appears to have been produced in the region of Shu; in the Wei and Wu catalogues; first translation).
*Puyao jing* in eight fascicles (or in six fascicles, or five fascicles), translated by the Śramaṇas Zhiyan and Baoyun under the Song (third translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text as the *Lalitavistara* (*Fangguang zhuangyan jing*). There were four translations in all: two survive and two are lost.
*Wuliangyi jing* in one fascicle, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Guṇabhadra of India under the Song (first translation).
The above one sūtra has two translations in all: one survives and one is lost.
*Fahua sanmei jing* in six fascicles (one edition adds the character *Zheng*), translated by Tripiṭaka Master Zhi Jiangliangjie of foreign lands under the Wu (drawn from the *Fanyi tu*; first translation).
*Sayunfentuoli jing* in six fascicles, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmarakṣa under the Western Jin in the Taishi reign (second translation. Respectfully examining the catalogues of Fei Changfang and others: the *Zheng fahua* was translated by Dharmarakṣa in the seventh year of Taikang. Looking at Nie Daozhen's catalogue, it further states that the *Sayunfentuoli jing* in six fascicles was translated in the first year of Taishi, drawn from Zhu Daozu's catalogue. These are the same scripture and should not be recorded twice. Given that the titles differ and that one text is extant while the other is lost, the reason is not yet clear. Perhaps *Sayunfentuoli* is Sanskrit, and *Zheng fahua* is the Jin translation: both the Sanskrit and Jin names being preserved, the cataloguers erred).
*Fangdeng fahua jing* in five fascicles, translated by Śramaṇa Zhi Daogen under the Eastern Jin (fourth translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text; together with the *Tianpin*, there were six translations in all: three survive and three are lost.
*Fo yi sanche huan jing* in one fascicle, translated by Upāsaka Zhi Qian of the Yuezhi under the Wu.
The above one scripture is an extracted translation from the *Lotus Sūtra*; it must be the "Parable Chapter."
*Gu Weimojie jing* in two fascicles, translated by Śramaṇa Yan Fotiao of Linhuai under the Later Han (first translation).
*Yi Weimolajie jing* in three fascicles (Sengyou gives *Yi Weimojie*; or with the character *Si*; or in two fascicles), translated by Upāsaka Zhu Shulan of the Western Regions under the Western Jin (third translation).
*Weimojieshuo famen jing* in one fascicle (or called *Weimojie jing*), translated by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmarakṣa under the Western Jin (fourth translation. Respectfully examining Sengyou's catalogue, there is also a *Shan Weimojie jing* in one fascicle, also said to have been translated by Dharmarakṣa; the note below states that Sengyou believed the earlier translation of the *Vimalakīrti* was cumbersome, and Dharmarakṣa abridged it and brought out the omitted verses. My present view does not differ from the former, so it is not separately preserved. Furthermore, in the Zhou Catalogue there is also a *Weimolajie jing* in two fascicles, also said to have been translated by Zhi Qian of the Wu during the Huangwu reign, drawn from Fei Changfang's catalogue; checking Changfang's catalogue, there is no such scripture title; the Zhou Catalogue is mistaken).
*Vimalakīrti-sūtra* in four fascicles, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Jiduomi of the Western Regions under the Eastern Jin (fifth translation).
The above four scriptures are different translations of the same text. There were seven translations in all: three survive and four are lost. (As for Śramaṇa Zhi Mindu of the Western Jin combining the three editions of one Zhi and two Zhus into five fascicles: because it was not a separate translation, and the text is also lost, it is not preserved here).
*Dafangdeng dingwang jing* in one fascicle, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva under the Later Qin (second translation).
The above one scripture has four translations in all: three survive and one is lost.
*Xianju jing* in ten fascicles, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmarakṣa under the Western Jin (first translation).
*Karuṇāpuṇḍarīka-sūtra* (*Beihua jing*) in ten fascicles, translated by Śramaṇa Shi Daogong under the Northern Liang (third translation).
The above two scriptures are different translations of the same text. There were four translations in all: two survive and two are lost.
*Fo sheng daolitian wei mu shuofa jing* in one fascicle, translated by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmamitra of Jibin under the Song (third translation).
The above one scripture has three translations in all: two survive and one is lost.
*Mahāyāna-ratnamegha-sūtra* (*Dacheng baoyun jing*) in eight fascicles, translated by Śramaṇa Subhūti of Funan under the Chen (second translation).

The above single sūtra had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Dengji sanmei jing* (Sūtra on the Samādhi of Equal Assembly), in one fascicle, translated by the Western Jin śramaṇa Bo Fazu of Henan (second translation).
The above single sūtra had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Chiren pusa jing* (Sūtra on the Bodhisattva Dharaṇīṃdhara), in three fascicles, translated by the Later Qin śramaṇa Zhu Fonian of Liangzhou (second translation).
The above single sūtra had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Wenshushili xian baozang jing* (Sūtra of Mañjuśrī's Manifestation of the Treasure Storehouse), in two fascicles (also called *Shixian baozang* [Manifestation of the Treasure Storehouse], or in three fascicles), translated by the Western Jin Parthian tripiṭaka master An Faqin (second translation).
*Wenshushili xian baozang jing* (Sūtra of Mañjuśrī's Manifestation of the Treasure Storehouse), in two fascicles, translated by the Western Jin śramaṇa Zhi Fadu (third translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text. There were four translations altogether, of which two are extant and two are lost.
*Lengqie jing* (Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra), in four fascicles, translated by the Northern Liang Indian tripiṭaka master Dharmakṣema (first translation).
The above single sūtra had four translations altogether, of which three are extant and one is lost.
*Dafangdeng wuxiang jing* (Mahāvaipulya Signless Sūtra), in five fascicles (also called *Dafangdeng dayun jing* [Mahāvaipulya Great Cloud Sūtra], also called *Dayun jing* [Great Cloud Sūtra], or in four fascicles), translated by the Later Qin śramaṇa Zhu Fonian of Liangzhou (first translation).
The above single sūtra had two translations altogether, of which one is extant and one is lost.
*Zhufa wuxing jing* (Sarvadharma-pravṛtti-nirdeśa-sūtra), in one fascicle, translated by the Song Indian tripiṭaka master Guṇabhadra (second translation).
The above single sūtra had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Asheshewang jing* (Ajātaśatrukaukṛtyavinodana-sūtra), in two fascicles, translated by the Western Jin Parthian tripiṭaka master An Faqin (third translation).
*Gengchu asheshewang jing* (Re-translated Sūtra of King Ajātaśatru), in two fascicles, re-translated by the Western Jin tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa (fourth translation).
(As for the above: Dharmarakṣa translated the *Puchao jing* in the seventh year of the Taikang era [286 CE]; because he translated it again later, it is titled *Gengchu* [Re-translated]. Following Dao'an's Catalogue, there is only the *Gengchu asheshewang jing* and no *Puchao sanmei jing*; as it was made in contrast to Lokakṣema's earlier translation, it was therefore called *Gengchu*. Sengyou's Catalogue records both texts).
*Asheshe jing* (Ajātaśatru-sūtra), in two fascicles, translated by the Later Qin tripiṭaka master Kumārajīva (fifth translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text. Counting the *Fangbo jing* (Sūtra of Releasing the Bowl), there were six translations altogether, of which three are extant and three are lost.
*Yuedeng sanmei jing* (Candrapradīpa-samādhi-sūtra), in one fascicle (extracted from the seventh fascicle of the *Dayuedeng jing*), translated by the Later Han Parthian tripiṭaka master An Shigao (first extracted translation).
The above text, together with the complete text, had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Xiangye jing* (Hastikakṣya-sūtra), in one fascicle, translated by the Later Han Yuezhi tripiṭaka master Lokakṣema (recorded in Fashang's Catalogue; first translation).
*Wusuoxiwang jing* (Sūtra on Having No Hope), in one fascicle, translated by the Eastern Jin Western Regions tripiṭaka master Gidāmita (third translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text. There were four translations altogether, of which two are extant and two are lost.
*Shangjinguangshou jing* (Sūtra of the Foremost Supreme Golden Light), in one fascicle, translated by the Former Liang Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Shilun (from the postscript to the *Śūraṅgama*; second translation, newly compiled in).
The above single sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the *Dajing famen jing* and others. There were three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Amituofo ji* (Verses on Amitābha Buddha), in one fascicle, anonymous translation (in the Later Han catalogue; first translation).
The above is a different translation of the same text as the later-produced *Amituo ji*. There were two translations altogether, of which one is extant and one is lost.
*Guan wuliangshou fo jing* (Amitāyurdhyāna-sūtra), in one fascicle, translated by the Song Jibin tripiṭaka master Dharmamitra (recorded in Baochang's Catalogue; second translation).
The above single sūtra had two translations altogether, of which one is extant and one is lost.
*Xiao wuliangshou jing* (Shorter Sukhāvatīvyūha-sūtra), in one fascicle (also called *Amituo jing*, or without the character *Xiao* [Shorter]), translated by the Song Indian tripiṭaka master Guṇabhadra (third translation).
The above is a different translation of the same text as the *Amituo jing* and others. There were three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost. (In the Great Zhou Canon Catalogue there is a *Xiao wuliangshou jing*, but its text is identical to the *Amituo jing*, hence it is regarded as a lost text).
*Mile chengfo jing* (Sūtra on Maitreya's Attainment of Buddhahood), in one fascicle (also called *Mile danglai xiasheng jing* [Sūtra on Maitreya's Future Descent and Birth], seventeen sheets), translated by the Western Jin tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa (first translation).
The above single sūtra had two translations altogether, of which one is extant and one is lost.
*Mile danglai sheng jing* (Sūtra on Maitreya's Future Birth), in one fascicle (Sengyou's Catalogue states this was an anonymous translation in Master Dao'an's catalogue; now appended to the Western Jin catalogue; first translation).
*Mile zuofo shi shi jing* (Sūtra on Events at the Time of Maitreya's Becoming a Buddha), in one fascicle (Sengyou's Catalogue lacks the character *shi* [Events]), anonymous translation (recorded in Baochang's Catalogue, eight sheets; now appended to the Eastern Jin catalogue; second translation).
*Mile xiasheng jing* (Sūtra on Maitreya's Descent and Birth), in one fascicle, translated by the Liang Indian tripiṭaka master Paramārtha (fifth translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text. There were six translations altogether, of which three are extant and three are lost.
*Zhufa yongwang jing* (Sūtra of the King of Heroes of All Dharmas), in one fascicle, translated by the Later Han Yuezhi tripiṭaka master Lokakṣema (recorded in Fashang's Catalogue; first translation).
The above single sūtra had three translations altogether, of which two are extant and one is lost.
*Quan fangbian jing* (Sūtra on Skilful Expedients), in one fascicle, translated by the Wu Indian tripiṭaka master Kang Senghui (first translation).
*Le yingluo zhuangyan fangbian jing* (Sūtra on the Expedient of Delighting in the Adornment of Necklaces), in one fascicle (also called *Dasheng yingluo zhuangyan jing*, also called *Zhuan nüshen pusa jing*), translated by the Song śramaṇa Fahai (fourth translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text. There were four translations altogether, of which two are extant and two are lost. (In the catalogues of Fei Changfang and others, Dharmarakṣa is listed as translating the *Shunquan fangbian jing* in two fascicles and also translating the *Suiquan nü jing* in two fascicles. Under the *Shunquan fangbian jing*, it is also noted: 'Also called *Shunquan nü jing*.' Now, because the meanings of *suiquan* and *shunquan* are similar, Sengyou's Catalogue notes that the *Suiquan nü jing* was recorded in separate catalogues and was absent from Dao'an's catalogue. Thus we know it is identical with the *Shunquan jing*, mostly being errors in titles made by various cataloguers. The *Suiquan nü jing* is now deleted and not retained).

Sūtra on the Girl in the Womb Hearing [the Dharma], in one fascicle, recited and produced by the śramaṇa Shi Fahua under the Xiao Qi (fifth translation).
The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text; across five translations in all, three are extant and two are lost.
Sūtra on the Twelve Causes and Conditions, in one fascicle (also called Hearing [the Sūtra of] the Twelve Causes and Conditions in the City), translated by the Parthian tripiṭaka master An Shigao under the Later Han (first translation).
Sūtra on Hearing [the Sūtra of] the Twelve Causes and Conditions in the City, in one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Zhi Yao under the Later Han (second translation).
Sūtra on the Twelve Causes and Conditions, in one fascicle (also called Contemplating the Twelve Causes and Conditions Under the Pattra Tree), translated by the tripiṭaka master Dharmarakṣa under the Western Jin (fourth translation).
Sūtra on the Twelve Causes and Conditions, in one fascicle, translated by the Indian tripiṭaka master Guṇavṛddhi under the Xiao Qi (fifth translation).
The above four sūtras are different translations of the same text; across six translations in all, two are extant and four are lost (as for the sūtra on Hearing in the City, although it is found in the canon, its text is identical with the sūtra on Contemplating Under the Pattra Tree; furthermore, there is another Sūtra on the Twelve Causes and Conditions in one fascicle, which is actually extracted from the forty-sixth fascicle of the Ekottarika-āgama; therefore these two sūtras have not been transcribed into the canon, and other different recensions are sought instead).
Different [Translation of the] Sūtra on Comprehending the Origin of Life and Death, in one fascicle (Sengyou's catalogue says: an anonymous sūtra in Master Dao'an's catalogue; now appended to the Western Jin catalogue).
The above sūtra has three translations in all; two are extant and one is lost.
Sūtra on the Tathāgata's Self-Realized Self-Vow Samādhi, in one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Śrīmitra under the Eastern Jin (third translation).

The above sūtra, including new and old, extensive and abridged, has undergone four translations in all; three are extant and one is lost.
Dhāraṇī Sūtra of the Great Peacock King, in one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Śrīmitra under the Eastern Jin (first translation).
Miscellaneous Dhāraṇī Sūtra of the Peacock King, in one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions tripiṭaka master Śrīmitra under the Eastern Jin (second translation).
Peacock King Dhāraṇī Sūtra, in one fascicle, translated by the Western Regions śramaṇa Zhu Tanwulan under the Eastern Jin (third translation).
The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text; across eight translations in all, five are extant and three are lost (the first six texts are abridged and the latter two texts are extensive; as Śrīmitra produced it again, the Miscellaneous Dhāraṇī Sūtra should be a different recension, but since the text has not yet been seen, it is difficult to determine with certainty).
Sūtra of the Dhāraṇī Without Extremity or Base, in one fascicle (the old catalogue says Dhāraṇī), anonymous under the Wei or Wu (second translation).
Anantamukha-sūtra, in one fascicle, translated by the Parthian tripiṭaka master An Faqin under the Western Jin (third translation).
Sūtra on the Immeasurable Māra-Destroying Dhāraṇī, in one fascicle, translated by the Henei śramaṇa Bo Fazu under the Western Jin (fourth translation).

The above sūtra has three translations in all; two are extant and one is lost.

The above sūtra is the same text as the Dhāraṇī Sūtra on Upholding the Phrases, etc.; across four translations in all, three are extant and one is lost.
Raśmivimalaviśuddhaprabhā-dhāraṇī-sūtra, in one fascicle, translated by the Khotanese tripiṭaka master Śikṣānanda under the Great Tang, in the reign of the Heavenly Empress (first translation; newly entered into the catalogue).

The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text; across four translations in all, one is extant and three are lost.
Sūtra on the Bodhi Tree Samādhi, in two fascicles (Master Dao'an's catalogue says one fascicle; that is to say, it is the Sūtra of *Siṃhamati), anonymous translation (recorded in Zhi Mindu's catalogue; now appended to the Eastern Jin catalogue; second translation).
The above sūtra is the same text as the Sūtra of *Siṃhamati; across two translations in all, one is extant and one is lost (furthermore, Changfang's and other catalogues record Master Kang Senghui's Commentary on the Bodhi Tree Sūtra in one fascicle under the Wu dynasty; now, because the one commented on by Senghui is precisely the one translated by Zhi Qian, this commentary cannot be counted among the translations).
Sūtra on the Place of the Bodhisattva's Birth, in one fascicle (also called Questions of Magadha), translated by the śramaṇa Shi Shengjian under the Qifu Qin (second translation).
The above sūtra has two translations in all; one is extant and one is lost (it is listed as entering the canon in the Great Zhou Catalogue, but now having searched for it, it has not been obtained).

The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text; across three translations in all, one is extant and two are lost.
