rati-sukha-sāre gatam abhisāre madana-manohara-veśam /
na kuru nitambini gamana-vilambanam anusara tam hṛdaya-īśam //
dhīra-samīre yamunā-tīre vasati vane vanamālī //

Gone to the rendezvous, his dress enchanting as Madana, he is the essence of amorous pleasure;
do not delay your going, O wide-hipped woman, follow him, the lord of your heart!
In the gentle breeze on the bank of the Yamunā, the garlanded one dwells in the forest!
